Tucked into the heart of Medford’s quaint downtown, Zinc Café is a modern yet cozy retreat where locally sourced ingredients and culinary creativity shine.

This family-owned gem, in operation since 2018 has become a cornerstone of the community, offering a breakfast and brunch experience that balances rustic comfort with contemporary flair.

Zinc Café’s well-executed New American menu is a delightful beginning to morning indulgence, with dishes that highlight Jersey-fresh produce and artisanal craftsmanship.

The menu offers a huge selection of well prepared, creative dishes with an ample selection of salads, sandwiches and entrees that include seafood, steaks, pasta, and chicken.
Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options are available.

Their seasonally changing Sunday Brunch is excellent with a wide variety of selections.

The café’s design strikes a perfect balance between sleek and homey. Exposed brick walls, zinc-topped tables, and pendant lighting create an urban vibe, while plush banquettes and a fireplace nook invite lingering. Local artists’ work adorns the walls, and the gentle hum of indie folk music sets a relaxed tone.

In warmer months, the patio offers a sunny oasis under striped umbrellas, ideal for sipping coffee while watching Main Street come alive.

The Staff are as passionate as they are friendly, eager to explain the origin of the maple syrup (sourced from a Burlington County farm) or recommend the day’s pastry special—perhaps a pear-cardamom scone or dark chocolate croissant. Despite weekend rushes, the team keeps the pace smooth, ensuring coffee cups stay full and meals arrive Instagram-ready.

Practical Notes

Hours: Open daily for breakfast and lunch, 7 AM–3 PM (brunch all day on weekends!).

Wait Times: Saturdays and Sundays buzz with locals—arrive by 8:30 AM or enjoy a complimentary coffee while you wait.

Parking: Ample free street parking and a small lot behind the building.

Zinc Café is more than a meal—it’s a Medford morning ritual. Whether you’re savoring lemon ricotta pancakes on the patio or fueling up with a burrito bowl before hiking nearby Freedom Park, every bite reflects a dedication to quality and community.
