Roots steakhouse is a popular Morristown Steak house enjoyed by high end steak and seafood lovers.
Owned by the Harvest Restaurant Group, the Morristown location is one of three Roots Steakhouses in NJ, the other two are located in Ridgewood and Summit. The Roots Morristown location is owned and operated by partners Chip Grabowski and Bob Moore.
Roots Steakhouse gives off a typical steakhouse clubby ambiance with a masculine feel. The interior decor is attractively done up with dark wood paneling, large leather booths, coffered ceilings, and walls adorned with hand-painted murals. Tables are set with white linen.
The attractive bar area is done up with cluuby, dark mahogany decor with a few booths at the front windows. Keeping in line with Roots policy of technology devices best be kept at home, there are no TV's in the bar area.
The restaurant features plush couches, mahogany-stained oak floors, and a private dining room. The back of the restaurant opens into a courtyard with easy access to the Morristown Parking Authority’s DeHart Street garage.
Roots Steakhouse serves USDA Prime beef. USDA Prime is the superior grade with exceptional tenderness, juiciness, flavor and fine texture. It has the highest degree of fat marbling and is derived from younger beef.
Service is attentive and professional with servers wearing jackets.
Roots Steakhouse is open seven days /week for dinner nightly, and for lunch Monday-Saturday, and for Brunch on Sunday
