Named after the legendary jazz pianist that was born here in 1904. The Center is committed to creating a world class center for arts education, culture, and the performing arts.
The Center houses The Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre, and the The Vogel Theatre on Monmouth St, and the Basie Center Cinemas on White St.
The Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre has 1,568 seats. No seat is further than 125 feet from the center of the stage.
The Vogel is a club-size venue with a standing-room capacity of 800. They offer a broad spectrum of quality entertainment and education programs that reflect and celebrate the diversity of the region.
