Annual Mendham Labor Day Carnival, Parade, Concert, & Fireworks
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, August 30th until September 1, 2, 2024

Admission: Free
This annual family four day holiday event features a carnival with rides, games, food, and a 50/50 raffle, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening 6pm - 10pm.
On Labor Day, Monday, the parade will kickoff @ 10:00am, beginning on 72 E Main St, and ending at the Borough Park Gazebo. Later in the evening at Borough Park, beginning @6pm, there will be a live concert followed by the spectacular fireworks display at dusk.

Feast of the Madonna Dei Martiri - The Hoboken Italian Festival

The Hoboken Italian Festival, the premier Italian-American festival in New Jersey is over 80 years old, and is derived from a festival in Italy that is over 600 years old. The Festival is a four day celebration of music food and fun from Thursday through Sunday. On Saturday they celebrate their "Feast" day, when the 800lb statue of Madonna Dei Martiri or Madonna of the Martyrs is carried through the streets of Hoboken.This includes a reenactment of the Blessing of the Fleet in the Hudson River, culminating with a fireworks show over Sinatra Park.

This event features over 50 of the Tri-State Area's Best Taco Producers alongside a variety of Craft Beer and Specialty Cocktails. Their main stage has a full day of Live Music and Culinary Inspired Competition. This is a family friendly event with a Kids Zone featuring inflatables, face painting and more.

Liberty State Park will invite attendees get up close and personal with the monarch butterfly with a craft to make and take home with you.
Dress to be outdoors and wear shoes comfortable for walking. If it is a hot day, sunscreen, water, and insect repellent are recommended to bring with you.

The museum features unique aviation exhibits including the rocket engine that propelled the X-15, the first American hovercraft invented by Charles Fletcher, and more. There are a variety of aircraft, helicopters, and the custom-built "Fundamentals of Flight" interactive aerodynamics exhibit.

Water Lantern Festival

This popular family event features a day filled with fun, happiness, hope, and great memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime. Experience the therapeutic power of our festival, where the serene setting and the act of releasing lanterns provide a unique space for emotional healing and rejuvenation. Reflection Create moments of introspection as you watch your lantern drift on the water, offering a chance for personal reflection and a deeper connection with yourself.
All lanterns will be cleaned up after the event by their staff. In addition, The lanterns are made from rice paper and wood so they are as eco-friendly as possible and they will reuse and recycle the LED candles.
There will also be live music and food trucks.
