This Cape May favorite serves up well prepared seafood, sushi, and wood fired steak dishes in a charming Victorian structure. The interior has been updated and diners are seated in four dining rooms trimmed in soft, gold toned walls with tables adorned with black and white linen and chinaware. The tables are comfortable paced apart for quiet conversation. Chef Geoffrey Johnson creations are well executed and attractively presented . For starters, try the Eastern Shore Crab Cake with
creole remoulade or the Wood Fired Duck Quesadilla with
goat cheese, chorizo & mango salsa. Try the Creme Brulee with marinated fruit for dessert, it's sumptuous. The other desserts on the menu and made elsewhere. On weekend evenings there is a live guitarist playing soft background music It's BYOB and the service is attentive and friendly. Not recommended for children. |
