Recommended dishes: When available, The Linguine Marechiara, a Classic seafood pasta featuring chopped clams, rock shrimp, mussels & scallops in a light tomato white wine sauce; The Garganelli Bolognese, a hand rolled Quill shaped pasta served in traditional Bolognese sauce; and The Veal Supremo, Scallopini of veal with fresh crab meat, asparagus & shiitake mushrooms in a light cream sherry wine sauce.

La Couronne is a low-key Italian restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes. The restaurant is popular with older, loyal diners who come to enjoy old world dining with a reasonably priced menu.
Owned and operated by Chef Luis Dominguez who has taken over the restaurant from the original owner, Joseph Latona, Jr. who passed away in 2012, serves up a huge menu of classic Italian dishes.
The menu items are decently prepared though lacking in creativity and inspiration. Homemade pasta is well prepared.
Deco is dated, with styling from several decades back.
The service is friendly and attentive. Owner is hands on, friendly and welcoming.
Located in Watchung Plaza offering ample free parking
