Owned and operated by Vincenzo Sanzone who grew up in a small town in Sicily called Iccara.
Chef Sanzone features a menu of traditional favorites from the coastal Italian town of Iccara. Years after Chef Sanzone emigrated to Cape May, the name of his childhood town was changed to Carini, but Iccara still lives in his heart.
Set in a small dining room with a cozy ambiance. The contemporary decor is done up with dark blue walls adorned with hand-painted murals that celebrate Italy's rich heritage. The tables are exposed white marble set with dark linen napkins.
The menu is well-executed using fresh ingredients and offering a good variety of fresh seafood and traditional Italian options created with house-made pastas. Vegetarian and allergy-friendly dishes are available.
They are child-friendly with a kids' menu.
Parking is available in Washington Commons, with a discounted fee.
