It's a typical American-Irish pub --- a good place to meet up with friends for drinks and a bite to eat, along with live entertainment, and to enjoy playing competitive drinking games..They have live entertainment seven nights/week.
It's also child friendly and a good place for family dining with this caveat ---- Have an early dinner and be prepared to leave before 8pm. After 9pm, the restaurant section is opened up to become a large meeting space and dance floor.
It's owned and operated by the Fitzpatrick family and is one of three Grasshopper restaurants in New Jersey.
Each floor has a different ambiance. The ground floor has a sports bar with dart boards Good view of TVs from anywhere in the bar area.
The the top floor is very energetic with live music, competitive beer pong tournaments, and dancing with flashing lights. The basement is more subdued with a few cozy tables and soft rock background music.
The menu has a decent selection of Irish pub food and typical American standard fare, though the quality does not distinguish it from other New Jersey Irish Pubs
The Grasshopper Irish Pub is open Monday - Friday from 11:00AM - 2:00AM; Saturday & Sunday from 10:00AM- 2:00AM.
Brunch is served on Saturday & Sunday from, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m
