The Gables Restaurant, located one block from the ocean, is set in a charming circa 1900 Victorian B&B, and is one of the more upscale restaurants in LBI.
This is an ideal place for a romantic dining experience, especially when coupled with an overnight stay.
Dining is offered in three areas; The main dining room gives off an old world Victorian ambiance with dark red walls, a wood burning fireplace, a crystal chandelier, and original wide plank floors. The tables are set with linen and soft candles.
During the warmer months there is outdoor dining on the porch and in the garden courtyard highlighted by a water fountain and numerous flowers.
For a romantic dinner during the cooler months, ask for a table by the fireplace.
The Gables offers an exclusive Three Course Prix Fixe Menu. This includes a variety of choices with each course prepared with local seafood and fish, duck, handmade fresh pasta, raised right pork, prime beef and vegetarian dishes
They strive to use fresh locally grown produce supplemented by micro greens from Blue Moon Acres, Buckingham, PA, and organic meats from Niman Ranch organic meats, and organic poultry from D'Artagnan farms. Sea food is brought in from local waters with lobsters shipped in fresh from Maine.
The service is warm, welcoming, gracious and attentive.
The Gables Restaurant is open with seasonal days & hours for dinner during the summer season, and every weekend during the fall and spring.
They are also open holidays on Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.
