Located on the ocean, The Engleside Inn, Leeward Room is one of the top upscale, fine dining restaurants in Long Beach Island. It is the "go to" place in LBI to celebrate a special occasion with a group of friends or family. It's also the "go to" place in LBI for Sushi.
Engleside is a large restaurant with three distinct restaurants, two full-service bars, and regular live entertainment.
The decor is "Old School" clubby with walls done up with dark wallpaper and wood paneling. During the colder months, cozy dining can be experienced when seated near the fireplace in each of the dining areas.
The traditional American menu is well prepared, fresh caught seafood, premium cut steaks, pasta, chicken, lamb, and pork dishes.
Seafood items are of excellent quality with fresh seafood sourced daily from nearby Viking Village seaport.
The Engleside Inn serves the best Sushi in LBI. Their Sushi Bar, located in a separate room, offers a variety of traditional and creative sushi dishes prepared with fresh ingredients.
During the warmer months there is casual outdoor dining with live music at the ocean side Sand Bar. Open daily at 11:30 am (Weather Permitting)
Open year round with seasonal days & hours.
Special holiday meal preparations are served on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.
