Recommended dishes: When available, The Pub Style Baby Back Ribs with house BBQ sauce, fries and cole slaw; The Lobster Roll served with a buttered toasted New England-style split-bun with a swipe of mayo, a sprinkle of lemon butter & a dash of their secret spices; and The volcano shrimp tossed in spicy lava sauce.
Liquor: Good selection of reasonably priced craft beers, wines and specialty cocktails. Bar scene is vibrant.
The Dogtooth Bar & Grill is a year-round tavern popular with locals and visitors who enjoy a vibrant sports-oriented bar with large display TV's, live entertainment, and a well prepared, inspiring tavern menu at a reasonable price.
Owned and operated by Brendan Sciarra, the restaurant captures its nautical theme from his father, Michael Sciarra who owns the nearby Kona Surf Shop. Unlike most taverns with dark walled interiors, the Dogtooth Bar & Grill’s nautical theme is enhanced with pale blue walls and light-colored floors, giving off a beach house ambiance. Sciarra is also the owner of the MudHen Brewing Co. and Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza in Wildwood.
The American tavern style menu is diverse, with many creative options featuring their Asian/Mexican/American influence. The menu also includes a variety of vegetarian and gluten free options.
Dogtooth Bar & Grill is kid friendly with a menu is full of kid's favorite foods. Kids are provided crayons to occupy their time while waiting for food to be served.
During the warmer months there is outdoor canopied sidewalk dining Dogs allowed on the outdoor patio.
There is live entertainment on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
Dogtooth Bar & Grill is open year-round, 7 Days a week, from 11am - 2am Happy hour is 4 to 6 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and 4 to 7 p.m. on Fridays.
