Recommended dishes: When available, Crab Meat Au Gratin    with jumbo lump crab meat blended with a sauce of three special cheeses and cream; The Pecan Crusted Salmon over sautéed spinach, mushrooms, apples with horseradish sauce; Grilled Yellow fin Tuna with veal demi-glace, morels, cipollini onions, and ratatouille risotto; and The lobster tail broiled and served with drawn butter;

Dock's Oyster House is an Atlantic City institution with a longtime following of diners who come for their well prepared, fresh sea food. This is the best seafood restaurant in Atlantic City and a go to place for sea food lovers.

Owned by the Dougherty family who also owns the Knife and Fork and Harry's Oyster Bar in Atlantic City.

In 2016, the restaurant completed a renovation and expansion. Seating has doubled with dining on two floors, including a private dining room on the second level. With the added space, tables are now spaced comfortably apart for quiet conversation.

The bar has been expanded, while still maintaining the raw bar and the piano bar. The kitchen has also been renovated and expanded to include many improved, modern features.

Overall, the interior is attractively decorated with a modern, classic oyster bar feel and maritime touches that provide an upscale Jersey Shore fine dining experience.

Located away from the bustling casinos, you can drive up with free on-site parking and enjoy dining in a relaxed environment.

They have a good variety of traditional seafood dishes that feature soft-shell crabs, lobster and seafood platters. They are also known for their excellent oyster raw bar.

Despite reservations, during the summer be prepared for a wait for a table.
