The Copper Canyon, located in the attractive Blue Bay Inn boutique hotel in Atlantic Highlands, is a high end Southwestern restaurant with attractive decor.
Owner and Executive Chef Michael Krikorian has created a very popular restaurant the Atlantic Highlands with it's inspired Southwestern Menu with selections of sophisticated Tex-Mex served in generous portions.
The decor is attractive with a full service bar area that can get to be very high energy on busy evenings and the dining area with earth tone walls adorned with his children’s artwork, large windows and tables and booths with high back black leather chairs.
If you plan to go with a group for a fun evening with great food, and don't mind the high noise levels and the tables being close together, you will enjoy this place. It's just not a place for a cozy, intimate night out.
If you get there early or are waiting for a table, relax at the bar and enjoy a Margaritas --- they are exceptional. Seating is also available in the bar area but it can get very loud.
The service and can be slow and rushed during the busy periods.
During the warmer months there is outdoor dining in the courtyard of the adjoining Blue Bay Inn
The Copper Canyon is open six days/wee, for lunch Monday through Friday at 12:00pm
For Dinner Monday through Saturday at 4:30pm.
Happy Hour Monday through Thursday 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a great $7 menu
