Nestled near the bay, the C-View Inn is a beloved local hangout and a hidden gem for visitors seeking hearty, affordable bar food in a laid-back, family-friendly tavern setting. Known as Cape May’s oldest and friendliest tavern, the C-View has been serving up comfort food for over a century.

The atmosphere is nostalgically divey—but in a cool, unpretentious way. Inside, you'll find an old-school tavern vibe with about 20 closely set tables, a large wooden back bar adorned with glass-paned cabinets, antique hardware, carved moldings, and flat-screen TVs tucked into the corners.

It’s far less touristy than many other spots in Cape May and remains a go-to for locals and members of the Coast Guard alike. Whether you're craving a burger, wings, or a cold beer, the C-View delivers classic comfort in a no-frills, welcoming space.

Open year round, seven/days/week.
