Cory Checket, a certified sommelier, oversees the restaurant’s beverage program, curating an exceptional selection of wines and cocktails.
Chef DePersio, a graduate of the New York Restaurant School, refined his culinary expertise at renowned establishments, including the four-star Jean-Georges in NYC and the legendary Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, Italy. His talent has earned him features on the Today Show, Food Network, and Tony Tantillo’s Table. In addition to Battello, he operates Fascino in Montclair, NICO Kitchen + Bar in Newark, and The Kitchen Step in Jersey City.
At Battello, Chef DePersio crafts a well-executed, seasonally evolving New American menu with Italian influences. Fresh seafood and house-made pasta take center stage, embodying his “Italian without borders” philosophy.

The main dining room, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, provides an unparalleled waterfront experience.
