The racetrack is a straight quarter-mile (1,320ft.) It's primarily for drivers who want to race their car down the track for fun, referred to as "test & tune" or "time trials".
At Island Dragway almost ANYONE can race! All you need are a valid drivers license and some basic safety equipment!

The only paved oval in New Jersey offering stock car racing every Saturday night. This is a very affordable family venue with no charge for parking. Their track is a 1/3 mile, 32 degree high-banked asphalt oval track. The race cars are all privately owned. The drivers and their race teams come here to compete in very exciting races to win cash, trophies and points. There are 7 different types of race cars that race on our track. Sometimes they have demolition derbies too!

American Endurance Racing

The American Endurance Racing (AER) series was born in 2014 out of a desire for an inclusive endurance racing series with simple rules. AER's goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for experienced drivers to participate in endurance races using almost any production based race car. All AER races will be multi-class races with cars competing against other, in-class cars. Cars will be classed with other cars with similar performance based on qualifying times posted during qualifying sessions.
