Aunt Butchie's of Brooklyn, opened in early 2018, serves creatively prepared traditional Italian dishes in an attractive, rustic contemporary setting.

This is not your typical low-key, classic red sauce traditional Italian BYOB restaurant.

If you are OK with high noise and prefer a BYOB in an attractive setting with an inspirational twist to classic southern Italian dishes, then this is the place for you.

Aunt Butchie's of Brooklyn is family-owned and operated and is the sister restaurant to two other restaurants located in Brooklyn and Staten Island, where many diners have favorably raved about their food and desserts.

The dining area is spread over several rooms with high ceilings, large windows, dark wood flooring, picture-less earth-tone walls, and dark wood tables set with contemporary China and cloth napkins. Water glasses resemble mason jars.

Poor acoustics fail to soften the ambient noise. Conversation requires shouting across the table with soft background music not able to be heard during busy periods.

During the warmer months, there is outdoor dining on the patio

The menu contains many artfully presented classic traditional Italian dishes Desserts are home-made with a vast selection of traditional favorites.

The wait staff, dressed in black, is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, though busy during peak times.

Aunt Butchie's of Brooklyn has on-site parking, during busy times parking gets tight, though valet parking is available

Open for lunch and dinner six days/week. Closed on Monday.

Reservations are highly recommended, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings.
