The Sea Isle City location is run Chef Sergio Herrera, Andrea's brother-in-law.
This review is for the Millville location, however you can expect many similarities with the Sea Isle City location.
The menu features traditional fare from Naples, Italy. with homemade baked bread, homemade pasta and hand-crafted desserts using the freshest ingredients available.
The menu is decidedly Southern Italian draws on the flavors and experiences of Andrea's native Naples, Italy.
While the menu is traditional Southern Italian, don't expect the huge portion sizes served at the many other Italian-American "red sauce" restaurants. The portion sizes at Andrea Trattoria Italiana are more in line with smaller European portion sizes.
Andrea Covino uses fresh ingredients locally source produce from regional growers, supplemented by imported, authentic ingredients from Italy.
The decor and ambience are upscale, with bare (sans tablecloths) set with linen napkins, and dimly lit candles. Tables though are closely spaced apart, enough to hear adjoining table conversations.
During the warmer months there is outdoor dining on the patio.
