Rutt's Hutt is a landmark Hot Dog stand. If you don't mind a truck stop atmosphere and not having to dress up, and enjoy deep fried hot dogs, with a beer, this is the place for you.
Rutt's Hut is a place from out of the past ..... and the prices for the dogs and beer can't be beat!
There "signature" dog is the Ripper that is an ugly looking deep fried dog.
Not into Rippers? Try their tamer "In and Outers" that is cooked with very few wrinkles. Don't hesitate to add Rutt's secret relish with chopped cabbage and carrots. It's awesome
They also serve platters of chicken croquettes, stuffed cabbage, Jersey pork chops, burgers, fries, and Chili. Rutt's chili is spicy with very chunky ground beef, and beans.
Rutt's serves hot-lunch meals as well as real drinks in an adjoining tap room with its own separate entrance.
If you in a hurry and want a real road food experience, eat a hot dog or chili at the counter
Great for a pre-game meal ---close to MetLife Stadium
