- Welcome to The New Jersey Leisure Guide Times!
As we close out October in New Jersey, this month will long be remembered for Hurricane Sandy and the devastation caused to the Jersey Shore.
The Jersey shore is one of the treasures of New Jersey, especially for it's beautiful beaches, boardwalks and amusements piers --- all of which took the brunt of the damage. Some of the hardest hits towns, Seaside Heights in particular, will never look the same. Fortunately, New Jerseyans are resilient and will no doubt rise to the challenge and will rebuild.
We are heartbroken for those who experienced loss of homes, businesses and lives.
For those of us fortunate to escape the damage with nothing more than loss of power, and who look forward to November and the beginning of the holiday season, New Jersey has lots of exciting leisure activities planned for November.
