This is year, Independence Day falls on Tuesday, July 4, 2023
Independence Day commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress in Philadelphia, PA. on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.
This is a Federal holiday in the United Sates and is celebrated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, picnics, baseball games, along with many other private family and friends events.

This July 4th country music festival features two days music, festivities, food, alcohol, and fireworks. The festivities include a wine and beer garden, tractor rides, axe throwing, their Renault food truck, Sweet Shop, Village Bar, and more. They also feature VIP tent that includes seating for 10 with a coffee table, a fire pit, and great views of the main stage in the festival area. VIP tents provide a covered space for you and your friends to gather, relax and enjoy the music and fireworks display.

Their fireworks cruises includes FREE pizza and hot dogs. A cash bar will be available for fountain sodas, bottled water, hot beverages, and other snacks. Alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase at the cash bar.
On July 3rd, Lower Township's fireworks display can be seen in the Delaware Bay near North Cape May.
On the 4th of July, the fireworks cruise will be on the Cape May beachfront in the Atlantic Ocean.

The festivities start at 6 p.m. on Kings Highway which will be closed to traffic for the event. There will be food trucks, a stage with music, bounce houses for children (a fee is charged) and a chance to enjoy a good old fashioned street fair.
The evening will culminate with Fireworks around 9.00 p.m.

The event is held along the township's bay front in North Cape May, toward Lincoln Boulevard and Beach Drive
Pick a spot on the beach. We recommend a chair or towel since the sand can be chilly after sunset! There are vendors galore and carnival rides, too. It's crowded, so expect to park and walk a couple blocks.

@9:20 pm at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa This which lasts about 20 minutes, is best seen from the Borgata's north surface parking lot. Fireworks are launched from the vacant land between The Borgata and Harrah's. The Bogata also sets up The Beer Garden and provides live music from 6pm to 9 pm
@10pm at the Tropicana and at the Steel Pier. The show is produced by the famous fireworks company Grucci.
